August 25th, 2019 Back To Me
Yesterday was a 5-star day: I maintained the integrity of my calorie budget, I remained refined sugar-free, I exceeded my daily water goal, I had a good walk to a couple of stores yesterday morning, and I stayed well connected with exceptional support.
I’ve been trying something new lately, where I leave my car parked and walk to the store(s). This accomplishes a few things: I get some good exercise, I get the groceries I need, and I don’t overbuy because whatever I purchase, I must carry it home! I’ll save the watermelon purchases for when the car is waiting in the parking lot.
My Sunday morning started with on-air weather coverage, first thing. I got it done and got back to me pretty quickly. My Sunday morning foundational routine was good for me. I followed that by listening to an hour of Dr. Marty Lerner speaking. It was a replay of a speaking event he did for my private support group last year. I’ve learned so much from him. This has been a restful weekend in many ways. I’ve enjoyed it very much! I’m picking up mom in a little while for our weekly outing. We’ll have a good dinner, conversation, and a nice drive. There might be some light shopping for her in there, not sure about that, we’ll see!

Big Sunday #breakfast About 100 calories above aim- could have dropped the potatoes…but it’ll work for this meal. #omelettime Prepared with 4 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 1/2tbs sour cream (thoroughly mixed into egg mixture prior to cooking-for fluffiness), 40g sliced black olives, 5.5oz sliced mushrooms, and 28g fiesta blend cheese. 143g red potato, sliced and baked- then topped with 17g refined sugar-free ketchup.
